Katrina Sholeen, DPT, earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Northwestern University in 2018. She enjoys treating a wide variety of patients, and her specific clinical interests include rehabilitation of the knee and hip and working with athletes of all ages and ability levels to help them return to the activities they enjoy. She has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2015.
Prior to pursuing a career as a physical therapist, Dr. Sholeen studied art with an interest in figure painting and drawing. She has also studied Shotokan Karate in the Chicago area for 20 years and has experience teaching, as well as competing at the national and international level. Her love of karate sparked her interest in the study of kinesiology and human biomechanics, influencing the way she observes and analyzes movement as a clinician.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Sholeen enjoys staying active through karate, high intensity interval training (HIIT), and exercising on the Chicago lakefront. She also likes to slow things down by cooking and staying in touch with her creative side.
Dr. Sholeen sees patients at the Loop location.
