What is Vestibular Rehabilitation?

Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo is a disorder related to the displacement of crystals in the inner ear that can create dizziness, imbalance and motor disturbances. Physical therapy treatment for vertigo is effective and non-invasive, utilizing specific movements to reposition the crystals in the inner ear over just a few appointments.

Physical therapy treatment can also reduce your need for medications, which can be sedating and less effective over time.

Don't limit your activities or stop moving your neck in an effort to avoid the symptoms of vertigo! Call today to see if physical therapy can help you return to your normal activities and reduce your risk for falling.

Vestibular rehabilitation are typically conducted 1-2x/ week. Sessions are always with a therapist who is specially trained in treating these disorders. Vestibular rehabilitation is eligible for coverage by most insurance policies with your physician's referral. Please call (773) 665-9950 for more information.
